Modular Belt Accessories

A modular belt works as part of a conveyor interface. Sprockets positively engage the underside, pins connect the modules, wear strips support the moving belt and guides control the path. Replacing the belt while ignoring these interfaces can leave the original tracking, engagement or wear problem unresolved. For retrofit work, photograph the components before disassembly. Record shaft/bore details, sprocket tooth count if possible, pin diameter, guide/wear profile and mounting dimensions. For new equipment, send the conveyor layout so the belt and accessories can be reviewed together.Accessory matchingComponentPrimary matching dataSprocket / idlerBelt underside, tooth count, bore/shaft, form and spacingPin / connecting rodDiameter, length, hinge and retention geometryWear stripProfile section, width/height, length and carrierGuide rail / trackFunction, section, straight/curve path and mountingTensionerChain size, mounting space and required adjustment
