Radius belts are selected as part of a curved conveyor system. Belt width, inside radius, curve angle, guide profile and drive location all influence whether the belt can follow the path. A straight-running belt with the same nominal pitch is not automatically a substitute.The radius comparison range includes a 25 mm pitch configuration with 52% open area and 25.4 mm pitch radius configurations with 47% or 55% open-area examples.
